Classic Dad

My sister found this article about canoe paddling recently and it has a mention of my dad when he paddled on Oahu.

The picture is one of Classic Dad.

(Dad is 3rd from right in checkered shorts. That's Duke Kahanamoku on the far left.)

Carlos was so famous -- and gorgeous! Wow -- that is such a great photo. So Old Hawaii -- so fabulous for that "Gee, my old man was YOUNG once" feeling. I am so glad to have seen that.
